As a locally grown nonprofit organization, we are committed to providing English language learning skills to students that will enhance their success rates in colleges and universities in the U.S. We are equally driven to provide global learning to K-12 educators and administrators that seek to elevate 21st century intercultural skills, acquire professional training, and achieve recognition through personalized scholarship.

Overview
Our programs aim to cultivate student and professional abilities to pursue the opportunities of globalization, citizen participation and improve lifelong intercultural skills. The continuity of the program presents a comprehensive approach to learning, raising global issues and concerns, promoting experiential learning, and encouraging cross-cultural participation.
Your efforts and experience will involve a commitment to 10 month self-paced virtual training (4 Learning Modules), interactive collaborations, and one culminating local school community demonstration, presentation, or project. Your investment will not only enrich your personal scholarship, but also build community partnerships that promote healthy cross-cultural relations within your organization.

The K-12 educator program comprises of 4 Intercultural and Global Competency Institute (IGCI) Learning Modules and 16 IGCI Standards. For each, we will engage in three learning paths;

Note: Students that enroll with sponsorship must follow a curriculum plan designed by an educator or administrator that has already successfully completed a Level I Professional Learning Program. Curricula, assessments, and progress will be supported by the Glocal Citizenship Institute over the course of one school year. Student certificates will be awarded in May. More details to come.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
English Language Scholars Program

Intercultural Summer Camp
Now more than ever before, international students are seeking undergraduate, master's and doctoral education in the United States. You have the opportunity to gain a competitive advantage and achieve excellence by joining our unique English Language Scholars Program with the Glocal Citizenship Institute. All experiences will help you to make locally-minded decisions in your future work once you return home.
In our six-month programs, you will focus on acquiring and applying English language skills in real world settings. By investing in the online certification training courses and participating in the optional Intercultural Summer Camp, you will elevate your applied English language skills to new levels and gain unique intercultural experiences through a local family homestay.
More About the Intercultural Summer Camp in the U.S.
Spend 2 weeks engaging in learning experiences with other English language students.
Evening and weekend cultural excursions to local sites will be offered.
Apply new knowledge and skills in comfortable environments on a daily basis.
Extended Intercultural Immersion Option:
Travel for one-week to tour popular locations in the east coast of the U.S.
Visit diverse destinations in New England to communicate with native speakers.

More About English Language Scholars Program Enrollment
We provide three learning tracks for the six-month online-based certification programs. Specific program admission is based on TOEFL/IELTS scores for listening, speaking and writing exams.
*Note: See the acceptance range scores below for each program level. ETS files will be required and writing or speaking samples may be requested.
The Primary Level 1: Approaching International Scholars (TOEFL 0-11)
The Intermediate Level 2: Emerging International Scholars (TOEFL 12-24)
The Advanced Level 3: Developing International Scholars (TOEFL 25-30)
